Firefly Forest Hike With Daniel Tiger

A winding dirt path leads through a detailed woodland, and Daniel Tiger is strolling along it with a backpack on his shoulders. He has a zip-up hooded jacket over striped pants, sneakers on his feet, and a smile as he glances off to one side. His hands grip the backpack straps and his striped tail curls behind him. Little smiling fireflies hover among the trees, while flowers, leafy plants, rocks and spotted mushrooms fill the foreground. On the left, a round window is set into the big tree trunk and shelf mushrooms poke out of the bark. Farther back, a small arched bridge crosses a stream with a tiny waterfall. Big open areas on Daniel and tiny patches in the leaves make this one good for a range of ages. Warm orange suits his fur, bright yellow makes the fireflies glow, and a few greens can cover the forest. Grab the free printable PDF for classroom time or a rainy day.
