Delaware State Flag With Diamond and Coat of Arms
Coloring guide
A large diamond sits in the middle of a rectangular flag, and inside it is the Delaware coat of arms. At the top, a sailing ship with several masts floats above a small wavy base. Below it is a shield with a wreath-like shell shape on top, a plant and a small landscape in the upper half, and a cow standing on grass in the lower half. A farmer in a brimmed hat holds a hoe-like tool on the left, and a soldier in a hat holds a rifle on the right. A curved ribbon at the bottom reads LIBERTY AND INDEPENDENCE. The words DECEMBER 7, 1787 are written in outlined letters beneath the diamond. This printable page is a good chance to look up the date Delaware became the first state, then color the diamond light blue and the background a soft buff, with the ship, cow and both figures in their own colors.
