Demon Slayer Girl with Flower Hair Ornament in Patterned Kimono
Coloring guide
A girl with a straight bob and blunt bangs looks out with a small smile in this portrait-style page. A big layered flower sits at the side of her hair, and smaller blossoms trail down beside her cheek. Her large eyes have swirly, spiral-like pupils and long lashes. Her kimono has crossed collars, curving wave-like lines, and a flower motif on the shoulder. At the bottom of the picture you'll find a bow-shaped obi and big blossom shapes. Since there's no background, it's easy to print and finish. Soft pink and cream could work for the hair flower, deep purple or red for the kimono, and a bright contrasting color for the obi bow. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the face and neck in pale peach, leaving the eye whites, the white collar and the small highlights untouched.
- 2Fill the long hair and bangs with dark gray, using light strokes so the hair looks soft.
- 3Color the kimono in crimson red, leaving the white collar and the white outline lines clear.
- 4Add the golden yellow and plum purple obi belt, then fill the sage green and golden yellow patterns on the sleeves and hem.
- 5Color the flower hair ornament in soft pink, baby pink and pale blush, then add the coral rose petals near the top.
- 6Finish with the black eye irises, and optionally add some light shading in the hair and kimono folds for depth.
