With a big round eye and a little smile, this friendly long-necked dinosaur stretches up high to nibble leaves from a tall tree. A smoking volcano rises far behind it, framed by puffy rounded bushes and flat grassy ground with small tufts of grass. Ferns fill the bottom corners, a few pebbles sit near its feet, and the curled tail swings out to the left. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big dinosaur body, neck, and legs in lime green, keeping the eye white and the leaf highlights white.
- 2Paint the grass and the ground at the bottom of the picture lime green, leaving the sky white.
- 3Color the tail, the belly patch, and the toe claws pale yellow.
- 4Fill the volcano with brown, its glowing top with orange, and the smoke puff with light gray.
- 5Color the bushes, the tree leaves, and the ferns in deep green and bright green, leaving the white leaf highlights uncolored.
- 6Optional: add a few small rock and leaf details in warm gray and tan to finish the scene.
