Dora the Explorer Holding Up a Happy Puppy

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• light orange
• dark brown
• bright orange
• hot pink
• pale tan
• caramel brown
• cream
• chestnut brown
• lavender
• brick red

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color Dora's hair and the bottom of her hair dark brown, leaving a few light streaks for shine.
2. 2Fill Dora's face, arms, hand, and legs with light orange, then add the pink tongue inside her open mouth.
3. 3Color Dora's top hot pink and her skirt and waistband bright orange, keeping the shirt strap lavender.
4. 4Fill the puppy's ears, top ear, and tail with caramel brown, and its body, legs, and hind leg with pale tan.
5. 5Paint the puppy's belly and muzzle cream, and color the mouth brick red and the eye irises chestnut brown, leaving the teeth and eye shine white.
6. 6Optional: Add a little darker brown along the edges of the hair and ears to make the shapes pop.
