Cowgirl Dora the Explorer on a Spotted Horse
Coloring guide
Dora sits in the saddle of a cheerful spotted horse. She wears a wide-brimmed cowboy hat with a zigzag band, a fringed vest and boots with zigzag trim, with her little backpack on her back. Both hands hold the reins as she smiles and looks up. The horse has big round eyes, a wavy forelock, a flowing tail and patches all over its body, and it prances with one front leg lifted and a happy grin. There's no background, so the page stays simple for little hands. It's a free printable that suits preschoolers and early elementary kids who like animal scenes. Tan and brown would look good on the hat and boots, and the horse could have reddish-brown spots on a cream coat so they stand out. Large shapes make it easy to stay inside the lines. - 2Color Dora's face and hands in peach skin, then fill her jeans with sky blue and her boots with caramel brown.
- 3Fill the big red saddle with deep red and the hat, hair and horse mane with chocolate brown.
- 4Add the pale yellow shirt sleeves and vest details in bright red and lavender purple for the backpack straps.
- 5Color the horse's hooves, mane top, and bridle in dark brown and caramel brown, and add the golden tan ear and gold bridle ring.
- 6Optional: Leave the eye whites, Dora's teeth, and the horse's teeth bright white for a fresh, sparkly look.
