Ballerina Dora the Explorer Waving with Roses
Coloring guide
Standing on a wooden stage floor, Dora waves with one hand up and a big open-mouthed smile. A tiara with diamond shapes sits on her head, with her bob haircut and bangs peeking out below. She has a short-sleeved top with beaded trim at the collar and a ruffled tutu-style skirt decorated with dotted swirls. A large bouquet of flowers and roses rests in the crook of her other arm. Her ballet slippers have ribbon ties, and a few loose roses and flowers have fallen onto the floorboards near her feet. Straight plank lines and a stage edge run behind her. Soft pink or lavender for the skirt, gold for the tiara, and red roses will make the bouquet pop. Print it at home whenever you want. - 1Color the tutu skirt with baby pink, leaving the little dots along the hem white, and fill the top of the dress and the shirt with hot pink.
- 2Fill the face, arms, and legs with skin peach, keeping the eye whites, teeth, and small highlights white.
- 3Color the hair and the back of the hairstyle chocolate brown, and fill the tiara with golden yellow, adding a hot pink gem in the middle.
- 4Paint the bouquet: use leaf green and grass green for the leaves, bright red for the rose buds, and hot pink, violet purple, and soft lavender for the flowers, with a few white petals.
- 5Color the floor planks and the floating roses and flowers in light wood tan, bright red, and hot pink, leaving the background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade of the same color along one side of the skirt and the bouquet to make them look more dimensional.
