A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big green shapes: color the central cactus-shaped cookie in grass green, then fill the tall and side leaves with leaf green.
- 2Color the woven basket body in light tan and basket brown, alternating the rows so it looks woven, and fill the bottom of the basket in basket brown.
- 3Paint the thick twisted handle, the rim of the basket, and the top stripes of the eggs in golden yellow, and color the bow and its tails in coral red.
- 4Fill the tulips with rose pink, lavender purple, and golden yellow, then color the blue eggs with sky blue, pale blue, and light sky blue, and the pink egg with rose pink.
- 5Add the butterfly wings in rose pink and the grass in leaf green, then leave the tulip stems, the background sky, and the small leaf highlights white.
- 6Optional: add a little shading on the basket and the eggs with a slightly darker tone of the same color to make them look rounder.
