Smiling Donkey at the City Gate, Good Friday Coloring
Coloring guide
Front and center, a cheerful young donkey smiles with big eyes, tall upright ears and a tuft of fluffy hair on its forehead. It has a brush-tipped tail and stands on four sturdy legs with neat hooves. Behind it, a brick wall with a rounded stone archway opens onto a small town of flat-roofed buildings. Palm trees rise on both sides, and a few bushes, rocks and grass tufts are spread across the ground. Large, open shapes are easy for younger children, while the stone blocks give older kids some detail. A soft gray-brown fits the donkey, sandy tones the bricks and buildings, and bright greens the palm fronds. It's a gentle activity for a Good Friday lesson at home or in class.
