A bunny in overalls grins as it pedals down a winding country path. A woven basket of patterned eggs sits on the front of the bike, and a little wooden wagon heaped with even more eggs rolls along behind. Look around and you'll spot a big leafy tree on the left, a stone wall, a wooden fence, rolling hills, puffy clouds and a small farmhouse far off. Daisy-style flowers and tulips tuck into the corners, which gives kids plenty of tiny spots to color. Zigzags, dots and stripes cover the eggs, so markers and crayons both work well. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the sky areas and the sky around the clouds with sky blue, leaving the clouds white.
- 2Fill the hills, grassy banks and bushes with pale green and yellow green, then use leaf green and lime green for the tree leaves.
- 3Color the bunny's head and body with caramel brown, the paws and foot with peach beige, the inner ears with baby pink, and the muzzle and cheek with cream.
- 4Paint the overalls and their straps denim blue, the shirt and sleeves golden yellow, and the bike frame red, with the tires and pedals charcoal gray.
- 5Color the wooden cart and tree trunk with wood brown, the basket and fence with caramel brown, the dirt path with sand tan, and the eggs and flowers with golden yellow or lime green, keeping the highlights white.
- 6Optional: add slightly darker shading on one side of the bunny, the cart and the tree to give the page more depth.
