Fairy-Tale Castle Made of Easter Eggs

Coloring guide
In the arched wooden doorway of a storybook castle, a little bunny in a vest stands and waves. The whole castle is built from giant decorated Easter eggs, with egg-shaped towers covered in zigzags, hearts, flowers, dots and wavy stripes, plus scalloped pointed roofs topped with small flags. Arched windows have flower boxes, and a floral wreath surrounds the heart-topped door. On each side of the entrance there's a carrot-shaped urn with egg patterns, along with pots of blooms. A cobbled path winds through a garden of tulips, daisies and more patterned eggs. Past the castle you can spot a sun, fluffy clouds, trees, mountains and a small arched bridge. Pastel purple, pink and mint green would look lovely on the towers, and the sun can be bright yellow. It's a free coloring page to print for a relaxed afternoon. Love this Easter Eggs coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big tower bodies: fill the tall central tower and the side towers with butter yellow, pale yellow, lavender and bright sky blue, leaving the small polka dots and heart shapes white.
- 2Color the roofs and flags next: use coral red for the big roof and bubblegum pink for the flags and the small left roof.
- 3Paint the greenery with grass green for the trees, bushes and lawn, and use lime green for the stripes on the left tower.
- 4Add the sky and clouds in pale blue, and color the distant mountain lavender while leaving its snowy top white.
- 5Fill the wooden door and its arch in golden brown, then add the cream pedestals, the orange band and the flower patch along the path with peach.
- 6Finish with the small details: the bunny's bow in golden brown, the yellow tulip, the blue flower and the pink tulip. Optional: add a little darker shading under the eaves for depth.
