Fa Zhou Kneeling in Hopeful Prayer

A tall, thin man kneels in the middle of the page with his palms pressed together in front of his chest. He has a topknot, a mustache and a bold beard, and his worried eyebrows and upward gaze give him a hopeful look. This looks like Fa Zhou, Mulan's father. He wears a wide-sleeved robe with a crossed collar, and the long skirt of the robe spreads over his folded legs. A rolled scroll lies on the ground at the lower left. There is no background, so the page is easy to color. Try a soft color for the robe and a darker one for the beard, then use the scroll to talk about the story moment. This printable page works well for quiet afternoon coloring.
