Mulan and Li Shang Embrace in Traditional Robes

A man and a woman stand close in a gentle embrace. He wraps one arm around her shoulders and rests a hand on her back. Her head leans against his chest, and she looks down with a soft smile. He has his hair pulled up in a topknot with a small hair piece, and he gazes off to the side with a slight grin. Both wear long robes with wrap-style collars, wide cuffs and banded sashes at the waist. Her long hair falls straight past her shoulder. The page has clean, bold outlines and large open areas in the robes, so it suits kids who like to color bigger spaces. Try two different color families for the outfits, such as deep blues for his robe and warm pinks or reds for hers, then use a soft shade for the sash bands so they stand out. This free printable also works well for talking about family, friendship and kindness.
