Star Lantern Fairy in the Night Woods
Coloring guide
Flying through the night, a smiling fairy with a flower-decorated hair bun hangs a star-shaped lantern from a tree branch. She has large veined wings, pointed ears, little flat shoes with flower details and a petal-style skirt with a belt at the waist. More star lanterns dangle from the leafy branches around her, a round full moon glows behind the tree, and a cute owl perches at the upper right, watching. Down below are fluffy bushes and small pine trees. Big shapes like the wings and stars sit beside smaller leaves, so this free printable works for a wide range of ages. Golden yellow lanterns and soft purple or pink wings will make the night scene sparkle. If you enjoyed this Fairy page, don't miss our Vampire and Yeti coloring pages.

- 3Color the dress petals and the fairy's ankle wraps with leaf green and forest green, adding a bit of teal green to the pine trees.
- 4Give the hair and the flower details amber, and color the owl and tree branches with warm brown and dark brown.
- 5Fill the three hanging stars with pale yellow and add a golden yellow glow to the lantern, leaving the star outlines white for shine.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of forest green on the petals and bushes for depth.
