Kneeling Fairy Offering a Carrot to a Bunny
Coloring guide
Down in the grass, a little fairy in a flower crown kneels and holds out a carrot with a leafy green top. A curious bunny with tall ears and whiskers sits up on its hind legs and leans in to sniff the treat. The fairy has long wavy hair, pointed ears, big butterfly-style wings and a puffy-sleeved dress with a petal-style skirt. Look around and you'll spot tufts of grass, daisy-like flowers, two spotted mushrooms on the left and a tree stump on the right. Clean, bold lines and a mix of large shapes and tiny details suit kids who are comfortable with crayons or colored pencils. Purple and pink wings, an orange carrot and red mushroom caps would work well. The free printable PDF makes a good screen-free activity at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big wings first: fill the outer wing edges with sky blue and the inner wing panels with lavender purple.
- 2Fill the fairy's dress with rose pink, using hot pink for the lower petals at the hem, and leave the flower crown petals white.
- 3Color the fairy's skin in peach skin, then fill the hair in bright yellow, keeping the eye shines white.
- 4Color the bunny in light brown, add light pink inner ears and pale cream tail and paws, then make the carrot carrot orange with leaf green tops.
- 5Color the mushrooms bright red with white spots and light tan stems, the stump warm brown with a light gold rim, and the flower centers bright yellow, with white petals and grass in leaf green.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of the same colors along the wing edges and dress folds for depth.
