Daydreaming Butterfly Fairy Resting Her Chin on Her Hand

A smiling fairy sits on the ground with one knee bent up and her other leg stretched out in front of her. She rests her chin on one hand and tilts her face upward as if daydreaming. Behind her are two large butterfly wings. Each one is split into many sections with small oval spots along the edges, which gives you lots of little spaces to fill. She wears a fitted top with a small flower and butterfly pattern at the waist, and a petal-shaped skirt that spreads out around her. Ballet-style slippers have ribbons that wrap up her lower leg. This free page works well for practicing shading. Try blending two or three colors across each wing section, working from dark at the edges to light in the middle, like a real butterfly.
