A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the rug border with leaf green and the rug center and edges with moss green, leaving the scalloped border outline clean.
- 2Fill both rain boots with bright yellow, then color the boot soles dark gray and the top rims gold.
- 3Color the pumpkin orange, the stem chestnut brown, and the leaves on top and at the upper left and bottom corners in moss green, bright yellow, or gold as shown.
- 4Color the scarf dark red, working across each loop and stripe, and add coral pink to the cuffs on the mittens.
- 5Fill the knit hat with teal blue on the main panels and light teal on the ribbing, pompom and cuff. Color the mittens bright red and keep the heart shapes white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the edges of the boots, scarf and pumpkin to make them look more rounded.
