Farmers Market Apple Stand With a Boy Buying Fruit

A smiling woman in a wide-brimmed straw hat and apron leans over her market counter, while a young boy with a backpack reaches up to hold a freshly picked apple. Wooden crates and round barrels in front of the stall overflow with apples, and a checkered tablecloth hangs from the counter. A vase of big daisy-style flowers sits at the left edge, and a scalloped striped awning stretches overhead. Look behind them and you'll spot a leafy tree, other market stalls, a lamppost, a rooftop with a chimney and a cobblestone path underfoot. The apples are easy to fill in, and the busy details give older kids plenty to work on. Red and green apples look great against warm yellow crates and a bright red-and-white awning.
