Female Javelin Thrower in Number 10 Bib

A woman athlete is caught mid-motion as she gets ready to throw a javelin. She holds the long spear back behind her head with one arm bent, while her other arm crosses in front of her chest. She wears a headband, a sleeveless top with a large number 10 bib, a wide belt with a buckle, fitted shorts with stripes down the sides, tall socks, and running shoes. Her legs are crossed in a stepping stance. Behind her there are low track walls, a rectangular panel on the right, and a few puffy clouds at the edge of the sky. The big bib number and the shoe details are fun spots for markers or colored pencils. A teacher could ask kids to pick team colors for the outfit, then talk about how javelin throwers run up before they release. This printable page works well for sports units or Olympic-themed days.
