A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: fill the helmet dome, brim, extinguisher body, and the hose reel with fire red, leaving the round center of the helmet badge and the reel hub white.
- 2Color the helmet's front badge plate, back strap, and both boots' yellow bands and heels with golden yellow, and fill the axe handle with golden yellow too.
- 3Fill the boot soles, the boot cuffs, and the extinguisher hose with charcoal black, leaving the small shiny highlight on the hose white.
- 4Use light gray for the axe blade, the reel nozzle, and the extinguisher hose clamp, and use warm gray for the extinguisher valve.
- 5Finish with the small details: color the boot loops and the axe collar fire red, and keep the pressure gauge face and needle white. Optional: add a few darker shadows along the lower edges of the helmet and boots.
