Up in the night sky, three big fireworks burst over a row of snug little houses. Each burst has long, curved rays, with small stars scattered around and a crescent moon tucked into the top right corner. The middle house has an arched front door, two square windows with cross panes, a chimney, and a scalloped pattern across the roof. A smaller house stands on either side, each with its own chimney and window. Rounded bushes line the bottom, and a path leads up to the door. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the house walls and the front door in pale yellow, leaving the window panes for later.
- 2Color the three roofs' shingles and scalloped sections in cherry red, and the roof edges and all the stars in golden yellow.
- 3Fill the grass ground and the bushes with grass green, then color the stone path light gray.
- 4Color the chimneys and the chimney caps in chocolate brown, and fill the window panes and the door with light blue.
- 5Add firework bursts in royal blue, sky blue, bright red, and sage green on the strokes, leaving the thin white strands in the fireworks uncolored.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading on the walls and roofs with a slightly darker shade to make the scene feel cozier.
