Fist-Raised Halo Soldier With Sci-Fi Rifle
Coloring guide
Front and center in a sketchy, hand-drawn style, this helmeted soldier lifts one fist and grips a big sci-fi rifle up by his shoulder. The full helmet has a smooth, blank visor, and the armor is loaded with things to color: chest pouches, a utility belt with small ammo cases, a high collar, rounded shoulder plates, banded wrist guards and thick thigh pockets. His other arm hangs at his side, gloved hand clenched. The figure stands alone on white paper, so the gear is easy to focus on. The loose, scratchy linework suits older kids and teens who want a challenge. Olive green armor, dark gray pouches and belt, and a bright metallic helmet visor make a good combo. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the large green areas: color the chest, belly, shoulder pads, arms, and legs with soft green, leaving the small highlight spots bare.
- 2Fill the helmet dome, the raised fist, and the belt pouches with soft green, then add the visor in golden yellow.
- 3Color the rifle with medium gray for the main body and top part, and use dark gray for the darker grip and rifle sides.
- 4Shade the darker armor pieces such as the groin plates, knee area, and gloves with dark gray, and use olive green for the belt buckles and the lower torso sections.
- 5Optional: Add charcoal black to the rifle edges and the tiny details like the fingers, and use dark olive green for the deepest shadows near the legs and belt.
- 6Leave the small empty gap beside the hip and the background white for a clean finish.
