Five Flying Bats With Spread Wings Outline

Coloring guide
Five bats fly across the page in different sizes, each drawn with wide spread wings and scalloped edges along the bottom. Every bat has small pointed ears and a little face with two angular eyes. Two of the bats are large and sit in the middle left and lower right. Three smaller ones are placed in the upper left, the right side, and the lower middle. The wings are simple single outlines with big open areas, so they are easy for younger kids to fill in with crayons or markers. The scalloped wing edges give older kids some detail to work around. Try coloring the large bats in dark purple and gray and the small ones in lighter shades, so the size difference reads like near and far. This free printable also works well for a Halloween table or a classroom lesson about nocturnal animals.
