Pet Shop Window Full of Five Puppies
Coloring guide
At the front of the window, a golden retriever-style puppy sits with both paws up and its tongue out, almost like it's waving at people walking by. Four more puppies crowd around it. A spotted Dalmatian sits on a cushion at the upper left, a fluffy curly-haired pup is at the upper right, a corgi-like puppy with big pointed ears is at the lower left, and a floppy-eared one is at the lower right. The shelves behind hold a teddy bear, rope toys, a bone-shaped toy, a basket of balls and rolled-up pet beds. A paw-print food bowl, a bone toy and some striped and dotted balls are on the floor. Flower boxes fill both bottom corners and a scalloped awning runs across the top. Golden yellow and warm brown suit the center puppy, and bright blues and reds are good for the toys. Big faces and tiny details make it work for many skill levels. It's a free printable for kids and grown-up coloring fans. - 1Start with the big background areas: paint the shop walls and wooden shelves in wood brown and pale olive, then the floor and counter front in sage green and light gray.
- 2Color the big golden puppy in the center with golden yellow, and add its darker ear tips in caramel.
- 3Fill the red blankets and cushions with tomato red, the poodle with cream, and the beagle and corgi with off white, adding caramel to the corgi's ears.
- 4Add the teddy bear and food bowl in burnt orange and ocean blue, then color the awning stripes in tomato red, cream and pale olive.
- 5Leave the dalmatian white with its spots, and keep the eye whites and paw print highlights white. Optional: add a slightly darker shade under the puppies and cushions for depth.
