Rose Bouquet Flowers in a Round Glass Vase

Coloring guide
Five full roses with swirled centers make up the top of this bouquet, with pointed leaves tucked in around them. Between the roses are small round-petaled filler flowers and tiny berry-like buds, which add lots of little spaces for detail work. A big ribbon bow is tied around the stems at the neck of a round glass bowl vase, and inside the vase the straight stems cross each other beneath a line of water. Bold outlines and a mix of large and small areas suit kids ready to go from chunky shapes to finer detail. Think soft pinks and corals on the roses, deep green leaves, and a pale blue wash for the water. Print this free page whenever you want a quick coloring break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the round vase water with sky blue, both the upper and lower parts, and keep the glass sides white.
- 2Color the big bow and both ribbon tails golden yellow, including the small knot in the middle.
- 3Color all the roses in rose red, working on the outer petals first and then the inner curls.
- 4Paint all the leaves and the long stems inside the vase in leaf green.
- 5Leave the small clusters of white flowers and berries white, then add a few tiny touches where you like. Optional: add a slightly darker red at the base of each rose for depth.
