Flamingo With Black-Tipped Beak and Pale Middle Band

Flamingo With Black-Tipped Beak and Pale Middle Band coloring page

Coloring guide

A single flamingo stands in profile facing left, with a long S-shaped neck curling up and over before the head bends down. The beak is large and hooked, with a solid black tip and a lighter band across the middle, and the round eye is clearly outlined. The body is smooth and rounded, with layered feathers along the wing that end in pointed tips at the back. One thin leg stands straight down to a flat webbed foot, while the other leg is lifted and bent, with the foot tucked up in the air. There is no background, so the bird has plenty of white space around it. Kids can color the body in pink and orange shades and leave the beak tip black. It is also a nice way to talk about why flamingos rest on one leg. This page is free to print and works well for quiet time at home or in class.
