Party Banner and Speckled Egg with a Fluffy Hatchimals Chick
Coloring guide
Down in the lower middle, a round, fluffy chick-like Hatchimals creature leans back with its clawed little feet stuck out in front. It has big shiny eyes, a small beak and a feathery body, plus two patterned wings with swirly cut-outs on either side. A large banner with the letters "E!" hangs across the left behind it, with ribbon stripes alongside. Up in the right corner, a speckled egg has a pair of eyes peeking through a gap in the shell. Stars in different sizes, a kite-shaped diamond and curved streamers fill the space between. The fluffy body is a nice spot for practicing soft, short pencil strokes. Turquoise or lilac wings with sunny yellow feathers would look great. It's a free PDF, ready for an easy afternoon of coloring. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- golden yellow
- sky blue
- coral red
- leaf green
- tangerine orange
- chocolate brown
- olive green
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the chick's body, back, and wings with golden yellow, leaving the big eye whites and the speckled egg white.
- 2Color the banner stripes and the stripe on the left side with golden yellow, then fill the big banner background and tail with sky blue.
- 3Add the large letters and the round dot in coral red, and color the streamers: sky blue and coral red at the top right, leaf green on the left and bottom, and a chocolate brown streamer at the top.
- 4Use tangerine orange for the chick's beak, feet, claws, and the tips of its wings.
- 5Finish the stars and confetti: a sky blue star, a coral red confetti shape, and golden yellow stars, leaving the background and the confetti triangle white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker yellow shading under the chick's belly and wings to make it look more fluffy.
