Whirly hovers in the air here, with a big spinning rotor blade on top of his round head. He has two large goggle-style eyes with grille details, small wing-like fins on both sides of his body and a segmented, spring-like neck joining head to body. A small chunky claw gadget dangles from his tail end. His name arcs across the top in bubble letters, and everything sits inside a rounded card-style frame. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the WHIRLY title letters and the round robot body and head top in golden yellow, leaving the eye whites white.
- 2Fill both propeller blades, the left and right wings, and the lower body with bright blue, using deep sky blue on the blade centers and neck.
- 3Color the belly panel pale blue and the blade edges light blue to make the lighter areas stand out.
- 4Add the propeller hub and shaft in bright blue and deep sky blue, the propeller mount in medium gray, and the gray claw joint in medium gray.
- 5Color the red thruster in brick red and the bottom red tip in bright red, then keep the eye whites, page border and background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the lower edges of the yellow body and blue blades with the same color for a bit more depth.
