A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• peach skin
• medium brown
• orange
• light gray
• dark brown
• purple
• sky blue
• golden yellow
• pale pink
• black

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big tunics: fill Fred's tunic with orange and Barney's tunic with medium brown, then add a few black spots on Fred's tunic.
2. 2Color the skin of Fred, Barney, and both of their arms, legs, and feet with peach skin, leaving Barney's teeth white.
3. 3Fill the small figure's head with pale pink and color the dinosaur purple, keeping its snout and tail shapes clean.
4. 4Color Fred's collar and the blue strap across his chest sky blue, Fred's hair and eyebrows black, and Barney's hair golden yellow.
5. 5Fill the stone pillar with dark brown and the slabs and base with light gray, keeping the background white.
6. 6Optional: add a slightly darker gray to one side of the stone slabs for a bit of depth.
