Fred Strolling With His Lunch Box and Turtle Shell Hat in The Flintstones
Coloring guide
Fred Flintstone walks along grinning, swinging a log-shaped lunch box in one hand. The box has a little bone decoration on the front and a stitched patch, so there are small details for kids to color. He's in his jagged-edged animal-skin outfit with three dark spots and a knotted neckerchief, and a small turtle shell sits on his head like a hat. He's barefoot, one foot lifted mid-step, and his other hand curls near his chest. No background here, which keeps things tidy for younger kids. An orange outfit with black spots and a bright green turtle shell hat would look good. Print it out for a classroom project or a weekend craft. Love this The Flintstones coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin areas: fill Fred's face, nose, ears, arms, legs and bare feet with peach, leaving the eye whites white.
- 2Color the big tunic orange, leaving the dark spots on it black, and fill his hair black.
- 3Color the neckerchief sky blue, including the knot and the collar points.
- 4Color the hat with chocolate brown on the crown and brim, and use warm brown for the band and the front edge.
- 5Color the lunch box in medium gray, light gray and dark gray, leave its shiny highlight white and make the bone cream.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the tunic and along the lunch box edges to make the drawing pop.
