A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color Fred's skin peach: his face, forehead, chest, arms, knees, and bare feet, leaving the small highlight on his ankle white.
- 2Fill his tunic with orange, then add the dark brown spots on it.
- 3Color his hair black and his collar and tie sky blue, leaving the eye whites white.
- 4Fill the kitten with pale yellow on its belly and face, then use golden yellow for its head, ears, paws, and feet.
- 5Color the toy car: cream for the canopy, light gray for the stone wheels and base, and tan and medium brown for the wooden logs and seat, with peach for the car frame and bumper.
- 6Optional: Add light shading along the edges of the tunic and car wheels with a slightly darker shade of the same color to give them more depth.
