A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big orange tunic: color the large right and left tunic panels and the small knot at the hip in orange, leaving the dark spots uncolored.
2. 2Fill the skin areas in peach: the face, chest, both arms, both hands, the right leg, and both feet.
3. 3Color the hanging cloth, the bow tie, both collars, the fringe along the tunic and the flap held in the left hand in sky blue.
4. 4Add the hair and the dark outline details in black, then color the nose and forehead in peach.
5. 5Color the open mouth in coral pink, leaving the eye whites and small highlights white.
6. 6Optional: Add a little darker shading in orange along the tunic folds and peach along the lower leg for depth.
