Fred Flintstone Talking on a Stone Age Phone

Fred Flintstone stands in a cave room with one hand holding a chunky, ringed receiver up to his face while the other hand rests on his hip. He wears his spotted, jagged-edged outfit with a knotted tie, and he is barefoot. A cord runs from the receiver down to a rocky telephone sitting on a stone table on the right. On the left, a decorated clay pot with a zigzag pattern sits on another stone table with a small bone symbol on its front. The cave walls have rough, cracked lines and an opening in the upper right. Try coloring the spots on his outfit in a darker shade than the main fabric so they stand out. This free printable also works well for talking about how people used to make phone calls, with bigger crayons and simple shapes that suit younger kids.
