A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big orange tunic and the buffalo hat top using tangerine orange, coloring them evenly and leaving the black spots on the tunic uncolored.
- 2Fill Fred's skin on the arms, legs, chin, cheeks, and nose with light peach, keeping the eye whites clean.
- 3Color the buffalo horns, the fur around its eye, and the horn base with light cream for a soft, bright look.
- 4Use golden yellow for the necktie, the tie knot, and the collar area, then add raspberry red to the open mouth.
- 5Optional: Add a little darker shading on the lower edges of the arms and legs to make them look rounded.
- 6Finish with the hat band, hair tuft, and eyebrows, and leave the motion lines near the hands white.
