Fred Waving from a Director's Chair on a Flintstones Movie Set
Coloring guide
Fred Flintstone sits back in a folding director's chair, waving with one hand and smiling big. On top of his black hair is a small cap-like beret, and he's wearing his spotted animal-skin outfit with a jagged-edged tie. His bare feet stick out at the bottom, with the toes drawn nice and big. A large movie clapperboard stands beside the chair, its clapper arm striped, which gives the page a fun filmmaking feel. The plain white background leaves the focus on big, clear shapes for little ones. Orange with dark spots for Fred, black and white stripes on the clapperboard, and a bright red or blue chair would all look great. Print the free PDF at home for kids and coloring fans of all ages. This fits right in with our The Flintstones coloring pages — see also How to Train Your Dragon and Scooby-Doo.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big skin areas: color the arm, chest, neck, and legs with peach, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 2Fill the shirt collar and front with royal blue, and the sleeve as well.
- 3Color the tie and its knot with tangerine orange, then add the lower part of the tie in the same shade.
- 4Use golden yellow for the clapperboard stripes and top, and color the clapperboard base with pale blue gray.
- 5Fill the chair seat with warm gray and leave the chair leg bottom and background white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker peach shading under the arm and knee to give the skin some depth.
