Friendly Eagle With Olive Branch, Presidents' Day Page
Coloring guide
A happy eagle glides across this page with both wings raised high and a leafy olive branch held in its talons. Its beak is open in a smile and its big rounded eye gives it a kind look that young colorers will like. Each wing has layered feathers in tidy rows, which is great practice for staying inside the lines, and the long tail feathers fan out below. Three puffy clouds and a handful of small outlined stars fill the sky around it. Print it for a Presidents' Day lesson or just a quiet afternoon at home. Dark brown on the body and wings, white on the head, yellow on the beak and feet, and green on the olive leaves would look great. Love this Presidents' Day coloring page? - 2Color the head and the upper edges of the wings with coral red, keeping the eye whites and the tiny beak tip white.
- 3Color the chest, beak, and inner wing panels with golden yellow, leaving the small white patch near the feet unpainted.
- 4Color all the long wing feathers and tail feathers with bright blue, working from the outside edges inward.
- 5Color the olive branch leaves with leaf green, use light gray for a few leaf highlights, and fill the branch wrap with sea green. Color the feet orange.
- 6Color the five stars golden yellow. Optional: add a little darker shading on the lower wing feathers to make them look fuller.
