Ghosts Drifting Through a Haunted House Staircase

Three smiling ghosts drift through an old staircase hall that's more sweet than spooky. One big ghost swoops down the front of the steps with its arms stretched wide, another floats up by a framed portrait of a woman, and a third waves next to the curved banister. Look around and you'll spot a carpet runner down the stairs, wall candles in holders, a round window with a moon and sparkly stars, a small oval picture with a flower, a potted plant on a side table and a patterned rug on the floor. Big open shapes and fine details together suit kids who like both. Soft baby blue or lavender works for the ghosts, deep red for the stair carpet and warm yellow for the moon.
