- 1Start with the big areas: color the house walls, the pumpkin, and the wall boards in bright orange, leaving the ghost's body white.
- 2Fill the roof and the upper roof edges with violet purple, then color the chimney bricks in light gray.
- 3Color the door, the door bottom panel, the door knob area and the porch steps in wood brown, with the porch base in tan brown and the door frame in cream.
- 4Paint the open doorway in slate blue, the window panes in sky blue, and the pumpkin stem in leaf green.
