Frog on a Lily Pad in a Garden Pond

Coloring guide
A cheerful frog with big round eyes and a wide open-mouthed smile sits upright on a large lily pad. Its front feet are planted in front and its back legs are folded at its sides. Next to the pad, a water lily bloom with layered pointed petals floats on the pond, with gentle ripple lines curving around the water. Tall cattails with long, slender leaves rise on the right, and a small clump of grass pokes out of the water on the left. Bold, clean outlines and roomy shapes make this free printable a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids with crayons or chunky markers. Leaf green on the frog, soft pink on the water lily and warm brown on the cattail heads will make the pond pop. - 2Color the large lily pad and the right reed leaves with forest green, then add grass green to the thin grass blades on both sides.
- 3Color the lily flower petals pink, including the tongue inside the frog's smile, and fill the flower center with golden yellow.
- 4Color the cattail head brown and the small water rings at the bottom of the reeds with pond blue, and use red for the corner of the frog's mouth.
- 5Optional: add a few darker green strokes on the lily pad and frog legs to give them a little shading.
