Garden Tortoise with a Ladybug and Bird, Reptiles Page

In this detailed page, a friendly tortoise with big round eyes and a wide smile strolls through a busy garden. A small ladybug rests on the front of its patterned shell, and a little bird perches on the back near a wooden picket fence. The shell is built from layered hexagons, and the legs and neck have scale patterns, so older kids get lots of small areas to color. Daisies and other blossoms fill the foreground and corners, spotted mushrooms sit on both sides, and leafy trees and puffy clouds fill the background. A warm olive green for the skin, golden browns for the shell panels and bright red for the ladybug (so it stands out) make a nice combination. This free printable suits patient colorers who enjoy fine detail. This page is part of our Reptiles coloring pages collection — check out Snake and Birds too.
