A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the kitten's face, ears, paws and tail honey orange, leaving the white whiskers and the eye whites untouched.
- 2Color the straw hat crown and brim golden yellow, add the sky blue band around it, and keep the small flower on the hat white.
- 3Fill the overalls and the watering can handle and body: denim blue for the overalls and bright red for the watering can, leaving the rose on the can's spout in the same red.
- 4Paint the sunflowers: use bright yellow for all the petals and centers, and add leaf green leaves at their sides.
- 5Add the garden: tulips in bright red, light pink, pale pink and bright yellow, then fill the stems and grass with lime green and leaf green, and the fence with wood tan and cream beige.
- 6Finish with the snail shell in pale gold, its body in brown, and a few orange and light pink touches. Optional: add a slightly darker shade of each color at the edges for a bit more depth.
