Getting Ready for the Wedding: Gown, Veil and Heels

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Fill the flower vase with sky blue, leaving the flowers and leaves for later.
2. 2Color the hanger, the nightstand drawer and its legs in warm brown.
3. 3Color the rod ends and the rod with golden yellow and pale gold, and add the top flower on the veil in pale gold.
4. 4Paint the two shoes and their bows in peach beige, keeping the shoe shine spots white.
5. 5Use blush pink for the waist ribbon, the bodice flower, the bouquet flowers and the small flower on the veil.
6. 6Leave the gown, the lace, and the veil white, and keep the background white. Optional: add a light peach beige shadow along the lower edges of the skirt for depth.
