Gingerbread House with Candy Canes and Pine Tree

A cozy gingerbread house sits on a snowy patch of ground, with a thick layer of icing dripping off the roof edges. Round candies and a wrapped candy decorate the roof and front wall, and a square chimney with a puff of smoke rises on top. The front has a four-pane window with shutters, a striped candy pillar at the corner, and swirl peppermints near the bottom. The side wall shows a heart-shaped cookie, two crescent cookies, a small window with icing, and an arched door. Candy canes stand near the corners, large frosted blocks form a path, and a pine tree grows at the right. Try coloring each round candy in a different bright shade, then ask kids to find every peppermint swirl. This printable page gives plenty of small shapes for crayons or markers.
