Gingerbread House with Nine Peppermints Along the Door

Gingerbread House with Nine Peppermints Along the Door coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A gingerbread house fills the page, topped with a scalloped line of frosting along the roof. In the peak of the gable sits a round peppermint swirl window, with a long striped candy bar just below it. A row of nine small peppermint candies runs across the front, and four larger spiral lollipop swirls sit on either side of the door. The arched door has a starburst shape above it, a round peppermint wreath with a bow, and a candy cane standing on each side. Two diamond-pane windows have little awnings, and striped candy columns frame the corners. Four ruffled lollipops stand near the bottom, and a flat step sits at the front. Try coloring the peppermints in alternating red and green, then use the diamond window panes to practice staying inside small shapes. Younger kids can start with the big swirls, while older kids can add patterns to the frosting.
