Gingerbread House With Christmas Lights on the Roof

Coloring guide
This cozy gingerbread house has a string of big light bulbs running along both sides of its steep roof, plus a snowy brick chimney on top. A peppermint swirl sits in the middle of the gable, ringed by round candy dots, and a bigger peppermint decorates the arched, plank-style front door. Two windows with snowy icing above and gumdrop-style candies below stand on either side of the door. A pair of striped candy canes waits by the entrance, and a swirly lollipop with a bow stands at each outer edge. Two snowy pine trees peek out behind the house, and soft drifts cover the ground. With large shapes and small details together, it suits kids who like a bit of a challenge. Red and green work well for the roof bulbs and candy canes, and bright pastels for the lollipops. It's free to print, so you may want a few extra copies. Add this to your Christmas Lights coloring page collection, alongside Disney Christmas and Christmas Tree.

- 3Color the round candy in the middle of the roof with cherry red and blush pink in swirling sections, leaving the center highlight white.
- 4Add the light bulbs along the roof in golden yellow, cherry red, lime green and sky blue, and color the door arch bulbs in butter yellow, olive green, tan and dusty rose.
- 5Color the candy canes with cherry red and salmon pink stripes, and finish the lollipop bows in cherry red, leaving the snow and lollipop swirls white.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading on the brown walls and trees with a darker shade of the same color to make the house look more cozy.
