Baobab Tree and a Strolling Giraffe on the Savanna

This one is a bit more detailed. A tall giraffe walks across a grassy savanna, head turned with a friendly look and long lashes. Its neck and body are covered in large, uneven patches with lots of room for color. A huge baobab tree with a thick, textured trunk and a wide leafy crown fills the left side. Flat-topped acacia trees stand far off in front of a mountain, and small clouds float above. Four birds cross the sky near the giraffe's head. Tall grass tufts and a few rounded rocks fill the foreground, and the giraffe's tail ends in a shaggy tuft. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big baobab trunk and its branches with warm brown, leaving the small pale bark highlights white.
- 2Fill the leafy crowns of the baobab and the acacia tree with lime green, then use forest green for the bush on the far left.
- 3Paint the giraffe's face and long legs golden yellow, keep its ear light cream, and leave the eyes white with a tiny shine.
- 4Add chocolate brown patches across the giraffe's neck and body, and add a few burnt orange spots near its back.
- 5Color the mountains sky blue, the small clouds pale blue, and the grass yellow green, then fill the rocks with stone gray and leave the background sky white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading to the tree trunk and the lower grass to give the scene more depth.
