A Stroll Down the Rainbow Path with True and the Rainbow Kingdom
Coloring guide
A smiling girl with a long side braid and a flower in her hair walks along a striped rainbow path, her fluffy cat trotting next to her with a heart-shaped tag on its collar. She wears a puffy-sleeved dress, lace-up boots and a small backpack strap. Waterfalls spill off grassy cliffs on both sides, and past them you'll spot trees, pine trees, faraway mountains and a winding road. A grinning sun shines above the clouds, and flower clusters run along the bottom edge. There's a nice mix here, with large areas for little hands and small petals and leaves for older kids. Go bold on the rainbow stripes, then try soft pinks and lilacs on the cat's fur so it stands out from the path. Love this True and the Rainbow Kingdom coloring page? A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- golden yellow
- grass green
- light sky blue
- dress blue
- cream white
- peach skin
- rose pink
- apricot orange
- sandy tan
- cornflower blue
- chestnut brown
- forest green
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the bushes, hedges and grassy hills in grass green, and the darker shrubs at the bottom in forest green.
- 2Fill the path with golden yellow, leaving the thin black lines as they are, then add light sky blue to the sky clouds and the waterfalls.
- 3Color the girl's dress and skirt in dress blue and her sleeves in rose pink, then add peach skin tones to her face, hands and legs.
- 4Paint the hair with chestnut brown and the cat's fur in cream white with apricot orange on its tail and back patch. Leave the shoes and small white patches empty.
- 5Finish with the sun, mountains in cornflower blue, the cliffs in sandy tan and the small details like the hair flower. Optional: Add a little darker shade under the skirt and along the cat's tail for depth.
