Big Hug Between a Girl and Her Unicorn
Coloring guide
A smiling little girl with long wavy hair and a flower crown wraps her arms around a gentle unicorn's neck. She wears a short puff-sleeved dress with a belted waist and little Mary Jane shoes. The unicorn smiles right back, with a spiral horn, a long flowing mane and a wavy tail that sweeps along the right side. They're standing in a grassy meadow with daisy-style flowers, small grass tufts and rounded bushes behind them. Big open shapes in the dress, mane and tail are good for younger kids, and the flower crown and petals give older kids smaller bits to tackle. Lavender and pink would look nice on the mane and horn, and a sunny yellow dress for the girl. Grab the free printable PDF for a weekend craft or a classroom project. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the girl's face, arms, and legs with peach skin, and her long wavy hair with chestnut brown.
- 2Color the girl's dress, puff sleeves, waistband, and shoes with rose pink, leaving small white highlights on the fabric if you like.
- 3Add the unicorn's rainbow mane and tail using sky blue, golden yellow, orchid pink, lavender purple, and dusty mauve, then color the horn golden yellow with a white shine.
- 4Fill the unicorn's hooves with lavender purple and the bushes, grass tufts, and leaves with grass green and lime green, keeping the unicorn's body, face, and ears white.
- 5Optional: Add a few mint green touches to the background bushes and a little extra chestnut brown in the hair for depth.
