Snowy Castle Gates with Cloaked Girl, Beauty and the Beast
Coloring guide
A young woman in a long hooded cloak stands with her back mostly toward us, looking up at a grand castle past tall iron gates. Her hair is in a side braid tied with a big bow, and the cloak has a fluffy trim around the collar. The ornate gates have swirling scrolls and pointed tips, set between two stone pillars with snow-covered caps and hanging lanterns. Past them, a path climbs a few steps to the castle's arched door, with many pointed towers, tall windows and brick details. Snowy pine trees and drifts frame the whole scene. Soft blues and lavenders would look lovely for the snow and towers, and a rich red cloak makes her stand out. Print the free PDF at home for your collection. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red cape: fill the girl's cloak and the bow with cherry red, leaving small white gaps for the fur-like edges.
- 2Color the castle roofs and tall spires with royal blue, using bright blue for the tallest tip areas.
- 3Fill the castle walls, towers and gate pillars with sand beige, leaving the snowy patches and tops white.
- 4Add forest green to the pine trees and the gate bars, then use grass green for a few lighter branch tips.
- 5Color the girl's hair golden yellow and her face peach skin, leaving the eye whites and shine spots white.
- 6Finish with light gray and pale gray on the gate bases and small shadowy areas, keeping the snow on the ground and trees white.
