Girl in Hanbok with Tiger and Bear Mascots

A cheerful chibi-style girl stands in the middle of the page wearing a long hanbok with wide sleeves and a ribbon tied at the chest. One arm is raised high, holding a long flowing ribbon that curls at the top. On her left is a striped tiger standing on one leg with a paw lifted, and on her right is a friendly bear in a pom-pom winter hat pointing outward with one arm. The five Olympic rings sit in the top corner, next to a simple symbol made of lines and a star-like shape. The large open areas of the hanbok are easy for small hands to fill, so try a bright color for the skirt and a contrasting one for the sleeves. The tiger's bold stripes also make a good chance to talk about patterns. This free printable suits a classroom unit on the Winter Olympics.
